Learning Information
Here is some information about what we will be learning throughout this year in Hedgehog class. For more information on the curriculum your child will be studying, please contact your class teacher.
Autumn
In the autumn term, our topic is Through the Keyhole. We are learning about local environments, what we would find in a village and a town. We are looking at our houses around Hermitage.
Spring
In the spring term, our topic is Carnival of Animal. We are comparing where we live to similar places in Kenya. We will also look at the animals found in the UK and in Africa. A trip to Marwell Zoo will enhance our learning.
Summer
In the summer term, our topic is "What is 'Great' about Great Britain. We are learning about the different countries that make up Greta Britain, their traditions and we will look at famous places in those countries.
