Hermitage Primary School

The Hermitage Primary School Governors are committed to providing a learning environment and exciting curriculum that provides a place where everyone SHINES. The role of the Governing Board is an intrinsic part of the leadership of the school, although often unseen by parents and other community stakeholders. The Governors are responsible for setting the school’s strategic framework and statutory policies. Together with the headteacher we evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the school and identify priorities for school improvement, drawing up long-term plans and then monitoring progress towards these goals. This strategic vision is laid out in a 5 year plan which we publish here for review.
