Hermitage Primary School’s commitment to Privacy
Your trust is important to us. We want parents and carers to have visibility of our updated Privacy Notice to explain how we collect, store and handle your personal data.
Why we collect your data. We collect pupil data in order to support pupil learning, monitor and report on pupil progress, provide appropriate pastoral care, assess the quality of our services and to comply with the law regarding data sharing.
How we collect your data. We do this when you register your child here at school, via the registration forms. Information is updated when you inform school of any changes to your personal circumstances or situation.
When we'll share your data. We store pupil data for 7 years after pupils have left the school. We'll never share your data with third parties. For a full list of who we share pupil data with please see our privacy policy on our website.
Know your rights. You have many rights regarding your personal data, including seeing what data we access, and updating your information. Please see our privacy policy for further information on how you can request to view the data we hold.
